Chiapas Tecolotl, Mexico
$17.00 – $85.00
This coffee comes to us from Los Altos, Mexico. A mountainous land of valleys and forests bordering the Lacondona, one of the largest rainforests in Mexico. In the local Tzeltale language, Tecolotl translates to Owl. In Mayan culture, owls are believed to have mystical qualities. Cherries are washed, fermented and sun-dried. The unique micro-climate, rich soil and elevation yield a complex and delicate cup.
