Grown in the lush highlands of southern Ethiopia, Dumerso represents the best of tradition and renewal. Over 750 smallholder farmers cultivate their coffee at 1,800–2,000 meters, where red clay soil, native shade trees, and biodiversity create the foundation for vibrant, high-elevation flavor.

Reopened in 2013 by sisters Hirut and Mahder Birhanu, the Dumerso washing station has become a hub for quality and community. Here, coffees are meticulously washed and dried on raised beds, producing a cup that’s bright and refreshing with notes of lemon, black tea, rounded by delicate florals.
